20 people were killed and 7 injured in a terrorist attack on a private coal mine in Pakistan's Balochistan on Friday. According to Pakistani media Dawn, some assailants attacked the mine of Junaid Coal Company in Duki area.
During this he used many modern weapons including rockets and hand grenades. Duki Zilla Parishad chairman Khairullah Nasir said the attackers also set fire to 10 coal engines and machines. The people killed in the attack are from different parts of Pakistan.
Some of them are also residents of Afghanistan. Teams of police and security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to nab the attackers. No insurgent or terrorist organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Demonstrations have also started in many places in Duki after the attack.
Several vehicles also caught fire after the attack in Karachi.
Claim- The attackers rounded up the mine workers and shot them dead Qatari media house Al Jazeera reported, citing a local police officer, that the attackers gathered all the workers working in the mine in one place and shot them dead. This is the second terror attack in Pakistan in the last 4 days.
Earlier on October 6, there was an explosion near the Karachi airport late at night. In which three people were killed, while 11 people were injured. After the attack, the Chinese embassy demanded an investigation. On this, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif himself assured to lead the investigation.
In August, 73 people were killed in 3 terrorist attacks in Pakistan
Three civilians were from Balochistan among those killed. Apart from this, 20 citizens were residents of Punjab.

The blast took place outside the office of independent candidate Asfand Yar Khan Kakar. Kakkad was not present in the office at the time of the blast.
Shortly after this, another blast occurred outside the office of Jamiat-Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) party candidate Maulana Abdul Wase in Balochistan's Qila Saifullah town. 12 people have died in this attack, while 25 people have been injured. A total of 24 people were killed in both the blasts.
