We have got a big update on YouTube from October 15. The people who watched the video didn't make any difference from this update, maybe they didn't even notice. However, the people who are content creators i.e. 'YouTubers' have become very popular. That's because Youtube Shorts are no longer short. Till now the limit of shorts on YouTube was only 60 seconds. Which has now increased to three minutes. YouTubers have been demanding to increase the length of shorts for a long time, which has finally been done. Competition Ka Zamana Hai… In 2020, YouTube launched YouTube Shorts to compete with 'TikTok' and 'Instagram' reels. From then till now its length was only 60 seconds, which has changed now. The reason is that people are now used to watching videos in reel format i.e. vertical format. Also 'TikTok' and 'Instagram' have also made many changes in the video limit. So now 'YouTube' has also increased the time of the short. Paisa hi paisa hoga! With the shorts being 3 minutes in length, YouTubers are happy to get 3 minutes for what they had to say in 60 seconds. That means they can create three minutes of content instead of one on a single store line or topic. Their view time will also increase and as all this increases, the earnings will increase. Who wouldn't enjoy it if the earnings increase? On the other hand, 'YouTube' also has to play in the hands, now users will stay on their platform for a long time. If the income of the creators will increase, then 'YouTube' will also increase! Bhai, Ye Kaise Ho Sakta Hai? The option to shoot shorts directly from the 'YouTube' app will not shoot three-minute shorts. You can upload shorts videos up to 3 minutes. Also, from now on, any video up to three minutes, be it vertical or square (horizontal or portrait), 'YouTube' will automatically consider it short and put it in that category. All these videos will also be considered eligible for short revenue sharing model. Videos up to 3 minutes before October 15 will remain the same, they will continue to be monetized in the long form revenue sharing model. However, it will still take some time for the three-minute long short to hit your feed. Tera kya hoga kaliya? Due to the increase in the length of shorts, 'YouTubers' and 'YouTube' may be in trouble, but the death belongs to the users. Even so, garbage is increasing on social media platforms including 'YouTube', 'Instagram'. In that the length of the shorts will be filled with waste. In very simple terms, the video which is supposed to fall in 50 seconds will now be stretched to 180 seconds. For YouTubers, it will mean increasing the view time. In sum, people will consume redundant content. Which is still a big problem now. This does not apply to all but there are only a few percent who do not apply.
