Setu: Yeh vada raha

Lata Hirani Soor ne Sangat rahe tari now consider me personal in the word. At about five in the evening, everyone was sitting in the drawing room with a cup of tea in hand. A joint family of three brothers. Be it job or business, all three brothers are devoted to music. These three are enough in singing. The wedding season was approaching and a lot of attention was needed to take care of the events. Thus, the name of Kothari Brothers was big, so they got the program, but now the competition was increasing. 'What shall we do for the female voice?' Ajay asked. 'Hey man, there is a lot of trouble, one thing is that there are few singers and all are busy in the season…' 'We can take care of it in another program, but this wedding song program cannot run without a lady singer…' 'There is one in Rajkot… I have heard of it. Sings well. Shall we call?' Ajay remembered. Will it be free? Will Ahmedabad come?' Big brother expressed doubt. 'Let's try, if possible, the current crisis will be avoided.' And Ajay gets Bindu's phone number. This was the occasion for Bindu. Ajay was a big name in the music world. Such a good artist does not have to think when it comes. Bindu's hobby and profession of singing. She took over the mic from a young age. She sang well and conducted well. Love for poetry meant that she flourished with shayari in program management. Now the difficulty was to convince mom and dad. These conservative minded people. Thus, it was a big thing that they were allowed to sing in music programs. They would never allow their young daughter to go out alone to give such a program. The phone went off. Discussions were held. After Bindu presented his point, Mom got a stomach ache. The condition is to take younger sister Seema along. Yes came from the opposite side and the program was decided. On the last day Seema fell ill and Kachwat had to let Bindu go alone after giving me many instructions. Bindu came to Ahmedabad by bus. Ajay had come to get it. 'How will we arrange your stay? Mom and we live with three brothers. Should we stay at our house or book a room in a hotel? My sister is just like you.' Bindu hesitated a minute. Rather than staying alone in a hotel, he felt the proposal to stay at home. Even though we met for the first time, as soon as we met, some unbreakable string of trust was established before words. Bindu felt, no need to worry. 'There is no need for a hotel. You will find it at home…' Reached home and Ajay's mom warmly welcomed her as if her own daughter had arrived. 'Let me call home.' Saying Bindu connected the phone. After reaching the word, Ajay's mom asked for the phone and spoke to Bindu's mom. 'Don't worry at all. Your daughter is my daughter etc… Bindu's mom laughed. Bindu came out of Ajay's sister's room refreshed in a few minutes. Everyone sat down to eat. Ajay introduced both the brothers, sister-in-law, children. It shines! Oh, so Ajay is still single! Mom says, 'But this Ajay doesn't like any girl. Who knows when you will find a girl who can prove the melody in her tune?' Bindu became a flowing stream… The programs were starting from this evening. It was difficult for Bindu to find a boy in the caste who would allow his passion for music to flourish. Age was growing and parents were worried too… Ajay belonged to a different caste and both their families were conservative. It was evening. Neither fully light nor fully dark. Mom lit a lamp in the temple while leaving for the program. The light remained. Ajay fell on his feet, Bindu too… 'God fulfill your dreams…' Mom's blessings kept echoing in Bindu's mind. A bird sitting in the nest of his mind started chirping with a thukha of the throat while singing Mangalashtak at the wedding. There were three programs in a row and the audience loved this pair. Then Bindu got permission to come to Ahmedabad. Once just like that, after completing the program late at night the caravan settled in the carriage. Bindu had been exposed the night before. Ajay gently supported her swaying head with his shoulder. Bindu was looking for a green tree and Ajay's eyes were filled with spring. The next day, Bindu wrote in the diary, 'O God, Heaven and I are only two fingers apart. It is now entrusted to you to cross.' Once again the program came. The musical feast continued till late night. Early in the morning, Ajay went to drop Bindu in the bus. Bindu was very tired by the time she got out of the car. Ajay tried to take the bag from her hand saying 'bring your bag give me'. The touch of both hands made both of them tingle. Bindu's drooping eyelids fluttered open. 'The weight is ho!' That said. 'Yes, that load is mine' and he looked at Bindu. What was in sight? No unexpected invitation! A sense of responsibility! A suggestion to keep company! A rainbow of many values were playing in his mind at the same time. Without any argument he handed over his bag and both fell silent. The bus was still late. Both were arranged on the chair. Both of them were confused and couldn't find words. Bindu lowered his head on the table. Ajay also remained silent for a long time. It was announced that the bus was half an hour late. Bindu took a deep breath from exhaustion and exposure. 'If you are so tired, stop!' He was wandering in the forest of words. 'How long to stay?' Bindu could not control herself. 'You have to admit it for life…' Ajay was suddenly shocked. Bindu lifted off the ground. Ujagara leaped away and the dawn's bright light suffused his being. 'Put your hand on my head and say…' 'Put your hand on your head and tell me to write it on a blank paper and sign it.' A whole flock of birds chirping passed over his head. Bindu's required bus was parked at the bus stand. Bindu stepped forward with the words engraved on the heart, not on paper. Bindu's eyes turned to Ajay. 'When will you come?' 'Now you have to come get it.' Ajay's mind is with him…
