Gay parenting is not an easy task. Every day is a learning experience. Every parent wants to raise their children well and tries their best for it. However, there are some issues that parents do not pay much attention to. However, the fact is that some good habits of parents can leave a lasting impression on children and some mistakes can create negative feelings in children. FALSE PRAISE Parents often praise children for every little thing to instill confidence in them. However, when this praise lacks sincerity, it does not mean it. Because of this, children begin to expect praise for every action, even if it is not necessary. This causes the child to suffer from self-esteem. To prevent this from happening, parents should avoid false praise and develop an attitude of constructive criticism when needed. The Protective Bubble We've all heard of helicopter parenting. It involves parents who are overly caring and constantly make sure that their child's every little need is met before they even ask for it. Due to this, the child does not get a chance to learn, make mistakes and find a solution to the situation on his own. Because of this, the child does not learn to cope with failure. In the long run this approach can lead to anxiety dependency and inability to cope with life's challenges. Constant Comparison Parents often don't realize it, but comparing children to their peers or siblings can be incredibly damaging. These may seem like harmless comments at first glance, but over time can induce hypothyroidism in a child. Constant comparison creates unnecessary pressure and promotes insecurity. Neglecting Emotional Connection In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is easy for children to focus on their physical needs, but often neglect their emotional needs. Spending quality time with children is also essential. Children who do not feel emotionally connected to their parents may grow up feeling isolated and misunderstood. This has a profound impact on their lives.
