Frontpage Insights: Bihar's Sonepur to become state's first AI-equipped temple, robot priest Shri Superkarn Vigneshwar to offer Ganesha worship

  • The idol of Lord Ganesha will be made from the soil of Dwadash Jyotirlinga, 300 crores will be spent

State's first Supakarna Vigneshwar Ganapati temple equipped with AI technology will be constructed at Hariharnath shrine in Sonpur, Saran district of Bihar. In which there will be a robot priest along with the Pandit. This temple is being built by Yashaswi Bhava Trust. Construction will take place from January 2025. It will be ready by 2030. About 300 crores will be spent on it. The temple will be built in 14 thousand square feet. There will be greenery all around the temple. Wood will be used in the construction of the three storied temple. It will be built in pagoda style. This type of temple is located in hilly areas like Nepal, Himachal Pradesh. Ganesh Gallery will be on its first floor. In which pictures of Lord Ganesha's child forms will be placed.

A Shantivan will be established in the temple premises in which trees will be planted based on different planets. Devotees can come and sit here. There will be a water fountain in between which the mythological stories of Lord Ganesha will be depicted through a laser-show. Along with the role of a robot pandit in this temple, the robot will perform darshan to the devotees, help in distribution of prasad, crowd control, cleaning, electricity management etc.

Here there will be a mandap in the name of Lord Ganesha. Then a 3-storey Dharamshala will be built in the temple premises, which will have 108 rooms. All rooms will be air-conditioned.

A pagoda style temple will be built in 14 thousand square feet, there will also be a Veda Vidyalaya A selfie zone will be created here for children. An idol of Ganesha will be installed on the second floor. It will be made of soil and dung. For its construction, soil will be taken from Dwadash Jyotirlinga Somnath, Mallikarjuna, Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Kedarnath, Bhimashankar, Vishwanath, Bakeshwar, Vaidhanath, Nageshwar, Rameshwar, Ghumeshwar. This idol will be environment friendly. The color of the idol will be done with dyes obtained from flowers. A Shivalinga will be installed on the top floor, where devotees can perform Jalabhishekam. This will be the first temple to be completely dependent on solar power. The founder of the trust Dr. Shripati Tripathi said that a Veda Vidyalaya will also be established in the temple premises.
