Mood and Mind: The pain is in the head but the reason is in the mind!

Gawatibehan started having constant pain in her head for the last 7-8 months. Pain becomes unbearable for 3-4 days in a month and normal for rest of the day. It starts from one side and later starts to throbbing all over the head. Due to pain, there is a lot of difficulty in working. Sleep at night was much reduced. Burning in the chest and feeling nauseous. Can't tolerate sound and light. Feels good only when sitting in a dark room. When taking painkiller medicine, it feels a little better, but again after the effect of medicine wears off, the pain starts. Radio investigation of the brain was also normal in this problem. One thing worth noting is that when any stressful situation occurs, the pain starts on the second day. Have gone somewhere and do not get sleep for 2-3 days. If the burden of work increases in the house or any worrying news comes, this kind of pain starts. This pain can be called tension type headache in the language of psychology. These cases are more common in women who work more at home. This problem is also experienced by a person who does work that keeps the neck down. In fact, the load on the trapezius muscle increases as pressure builds up on the neck. Due to which there is swelling. Due to this swelling, the pain starts from a part of the neck. Also due to constant work and not getting enough rest anything creates stress. When these two causes combine, the pain goes beyond the limit. Some rest, using muscle relaxants and stress relievers can relax both mind and body. So the pain can decrease. When a person is struggling with a problem for a long time, mental stress naturally arises. Once a person's endurance is reduced, every little situation creates stress. Chronic headaches cause a lack of happy hormones so any change can affect one's mood. Although the external cause is not really big, it can make the effect worse for the person. We all know that endurance increases when stress decreases. Mood Mantra : Stress is not necessarily the root cause of every disease but once a disease occurs, stress plays an important role in regulating any disease!
