Chetangiri Gunsai is Cheriya in Guneri area of Lakhpat Taluka in the edge of Kutch district, but Cheriya in Kutch is nokha from the world. Because these cheriyas are spread over three kilometers. Also, the site has the potential to become Kutch's first Biodiversity Heritage Site and the process is already underway. The inland mangroves (subterranean cheria) in the Guneri area are unique. Common cherias are in bays, mudflats or coastal areas, but these cherias here are subterranean. This Cheriya is also an auspicious address for animals like wolves, chinkaras and many birds.
