Change: Railway Rs. 100 will give a unique card: 27 lakh workers-pensioners will get free treatment

Railways has made a major change in healthcare policy. Railways will issue Unique Medical Identification (UMID) cards to its employees, their dependents and pensioners. Through this card, one can get free treatment in designated railway hospitals and all AIIMS without any referral. This card will be issued with a fee of 100 rupees following the appeal of the concerned employees-pensioners. This change will benefit approximately 12.50 lakh railway employees and more than 15 lakh pensioners and around 10 lakh dependents. QR will work… Can be added to digilocker, no referral required
