Diwali spirit shines in pendants too: Decorate the home with DIY lamps, pendants and rangoli

During the festive days of Diwali, taking time to decorate the house with enthusiasm is special. Designer lamps and pendants are used to decorate the house during these days and attractive rangolis are made. However there are some DIY (Do It Yourself) activities with the help of which these designer lamps, pendants and rangoli can be made by oneself.

1. Cut out lamp and flame shapes from large card board and glue them.

2. Glue the thin lace around the lighted lamp shape.

3. Now glue the pink pom-poms in the lamp as well as the orange and yellow pom-poms in the flame.

4. Stick them well at one end of the long flower garland. A beautiful hanging lamp is now ready.

Apart from hanging you can use it in many ways.

Dancing Peacock Design Lamp Materials : One large size lamp, one small lamp, white sanitary M-Seal for peacock feathers and face, black acrylic paint, some golden acrylic paint and strong glue. How to make : Apply glue well inside a large lamp. After this, make small balls using M-Seal and flatten them by rotating your fingers (as shown) so that they look like peacock feathers. To give all these feathers a realistic look, make 2-3 lines inside with the help of tweezers. Do not make this feather where you are going to stick the small lamp. So that the small lamp can hang properly. Once the small lamp is properly attached, make the neck of the peacock using the M seal. After the lamp is dry paint it black or your favorite color. Later, paint the edges golden to give the final touch to the lamp. A dancing peacock design lamp is ready.

Colorful kulhads and lamps Materials: An equal number of lamps and kulhads (clay cups), acrylic colors of your choice and strong adhesive glue. How to make: This style of lamp is very easy to make. First color the kulhad with clay color or any color of your choice. After this you can decorate it according to your creativity. On Kulhad you can make Ganesha-Lakshmi, female-male or flower-leaves according to your choice. After this, paint the lamps as per the design of the kulhad and stick them on the kulhad. You can also use it as a stand without attaching the lamp to the ax if you want.

Create an attractive flower design from lamps Materials: two large lamps of the same size, seven small lamps (if they are designed, they will look better), M-seal to attach the lamps, some strong adhesive (glue) and paint. How to make : First take a big size lamp and keep it upside down on the table. After this, turn all the seven small lamps upside down and place them around the big lamp in a flower-like shape (as shown in the picture). Now all the small lamps have to be connected to the big lamp. So, stick all the small lamps one by one to the big lamp with the help of glue. After this, seal all the joints using M-Seal. Take another large lamp and place it upside down, then place the large flower lamp on top of it and attach it with glue and M-Seal. Now paint all the lamps golden or your favorite color. The lamp made flower is ready.
