Dr. Sapna Kamalani

A balanced diet is the best solution to keep Hera's skin healthy internally but protection from external pollution, dust and dirt is also necessary. Taking steam on the face regularly is definitely beneficial to avoid this problem. It not only cleanses the skin but also provides many other benefits. Steam this method, pour water on the face and neck and let it dry. Pour hot water into a large bowl. Cover your face and head with a thick towel and place your face over a bowl of warm water so that the steam hits your face and neck. Steam for at least 5 minutes. After this apply toner or moisturizer. How often to steam Steam your face once a week. Initially, steam it only for 5-10 minutes and then gradually this time can be increased to a maximum of 20 minutes. Benefits of Steam • It helps to open the pores of the skin and flush out the trapped dirt. This gets rid of germs and bacteria so there is no risk of infection. • Apart from removing blackheads and whiteheads, it also provides relief from dark circles. • Removes excess oil from the skin. • Steam keeps the skin hydrated by providing adequate moisture. • It relieves skin fatigue and gets rid of dead skin. • Blood flow to the skin increases and sufficient oxygen reaches the face. • Steaming before applying toner, serum or moisturizer prepares the skin for absorption of the products. Be aware that if you have skin problems such as rosacea, eczema or seborrheic dermatitis, avoid taking steam. Avoid excessive steaming if you have dry skin as it can reduce the skin's natural oils and cause dryness and irritation. If you have sensitive skin, use a limited amount of steam.
