Suryakumar Yadav out of first round of Duleep Trophy: Buchi Babu injured in tournament, first match to be played from September 5

Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav is out of the first round of the Duleep Trophy. His right hand is injured. It will take time for him to recover from this. The Duleep Trophy is starting from September 5. Surya was going to play the first match for the India C team, but now he may return from the second round. Suryakumar played the Buchi Babu tournament for Mumbai against the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association XI in Coimbatore. He injured his right hand while fielding in this match. Due to which he could not enter the field on the final day of the match. India-C match from September 5 Suryakumar Yadav's team India-C's first match is against India-D from September 5 in Anantapur. But Surya will not be part of the team in this match. He will move to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru to recover from the injury. Surya wants to make a comeback in Test cricket Indian T-20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav recently talked about making a comeback in Test cricket. He said, 'Many people have worked hard to make their place and I also want to get this place back. I made my Test debut for India, then I got injured. Many people got the chance and did well. He said, if I get my place, I will also get a chance, but it is not in my hands. All I can do is perform at Buchi Babu and Duleep Trophy and wait for my turn. Suryakumar Yadav made his debut against Australia a year and a half ago in February 2023. He has only played this Test match. Surya scored only 8 runs in the first innings of the debut Test. Team India won this match by an innings and 132 runs. Part of Surya Gaikwad's squad going to participate in the Duleep Trophy are many players who are waiting for a place in the Indian Test team. Suryakumar is part of the Rituraj Gaekwad-led India-C team in the tournament, which also includes Sai Sudarshan and Rajat Patidar. The tournament will also feature players like Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan and Rishabh Pant, who are looking to make a comeback to the Indian Test team after the Duleep Trophy.
