Mark Taylor questions Siraj's celebration: Says – He doesn't even wait for umpire's decision, teammates should stop

Former Australia captain Mark Taylor has questioned Mohammad Siraj's celebration. The 60-year-old former captain said- 'Siraj has a habit of celebrating early wickets without waiting for the umpire's decision. His senior colleagues in Team India should talk to Siraj about this issue, because doing so would look bad.'

Taylor told Nine News – 'When Siraj thinks he has dismissed the batsman, he runs to his teammates to celebrate before the umpire's decision comes.' The ICC fined the Indian fast bowler 20% of his match fee for an aggressive celebration against Travis Head.

Taylor's whole thing…

As far as Mohammad Siraj is concerned, I want his senior teammates to talk to him. Not so much about what happened to Travis Head, but about the fact that when he thinks he's struck out a batter, he doesn't turn to look at the umpire's decision and starts celebrating straight away. I think it's not a good sight for him and the game. I love the spirit of it, I love the competitive nature of it, I love the fact that we have a really good series going on, but there's also the respect of the game that needs to be maintained. I think talking to senior players will help him understand this.

Siraj's brain didn't work for a while and the Indian fast bowler later repented. It's a shame Siraj didn't use his brain that time. This kind of behavior is not required in the game.
