Newly elected US President Donald Trump will now be able to easily deport illegal tourists. Trump's Republican Party has also got a majority in the lower house (House of Representatives). Trump can easily pass the much-discussed bill to deport 30 illegal immigrants included in Vision-2025.
Originally, currently US law required deporting illegal immigrants to go through a lengthy process, but Trump has decided to recall the 1798 Alien Enemy Act. In it, illegal travelers can be immediately deported as enemies of the United States.
The use of the law was feared to be opposed by Democrats, but a majority in the House has cleared the way for Trump. After eight years in the US, the President's party has won a majority in the Senate-Lower House (Congress).
