India's chance to overtake Pakistan: Kohli to break Sir Bradman's record, Jadeja close to world cricket feat; Know other records

The second match of the Test series between India and Bangladesh will be played in Kanpur from September 27. India have won the Chennai Test by 280 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Ashwin will reach the second spot in this record by taking 5+ wickets for the 38th time in Kanpur. Muralitharan of Sri Lanka is number one with 67 times 5 plus wickets. With his 38th 5-wicket haul, Ashwin will also become the highest 5-wicket taker for India in international cricket. Ashwin is currently tied with Anil Kumble in this list.

9. Jadeja nears 300 Test wickets Ravindra Jadeja of India took 5 wickets in 2 innings of Chennai Test. With this he has taken 299 wickets in Test cricket, he will complete 300 Test wickets with one more wicket in Kanpur. He will become India's first left arm spinner to achieve such a feat.

Only two left arm spinners in the world have managed to take more than 300 wickets in Tests. Sri Lanka's Rangana Herath is at the top spot with 433 wickets and New Zealand's Daniel Vittori is second with 362 wickets.

10. 300+ wickets and 3000+ runs Ravindra Jadeja will add his name to the unique record of Test all-rounders as soon as he completes 300 wickets against Bangladesh. Jadeja will become the second left-arm spinner in the world to score more than 3000 runs and take more than 300 wickets in Tests. Only Daniel Vittori of New Zealand could do this before him.

Jadeja has 3122 runs in Tests. Jadeja will become the fourth spinner in the world and also the second spinner from India to complete 300+ wickets and 3000+ runs. Before him, only Ravichandran Ashwin from India could do this.

11. Rahul close to 3000 Test runs India's middle-order batsman KL Rahul is nearing 3000 Test runs. Currently, he has 2901 runs in 51 Tests. Which includes 8 centuries and 14 fifties. He played innings of 16 and 22 runs in Chennai. As soon as he scores 99 runs in Kanpur, he will complete 3000 Tests.
