India-C beats India-D by 4 wickets: Manav Suthar takes 7 wickets, India-B takes 240-run lead

On Saturday, the third day of the Duleep Trophy, India-C beat India-D by 4 wickets. Chasing a target of 233 runs, India-C team won due to Aryan Juyal's 47 runs and captain Rituraj Gaekwad's 46 runs. New format of Duleep Trophy From this season Duleep Trophy is being played in a new format. Earlier it was in zonal format. Now the players are divided into four teams. West Zone has won the Duleep Trophy most times. The first edition of the Duleep Trophy, named after Kumar Shri Duleep Singh of Nawanagar, was played in 1961-62. In the first tournament, West Zone defeated South Zone by 10 wickets in the final. Additionally, West Zone is the most successful team in the competition with 19 trophies. So far, 61 editions of the Duleep Trophy have been played.
