Centurion Test: South Africa score 301: Markram and Corbin Bosch miss centuries; Pakistan lost 3 wickets in the second innings

The first Test between South Africa and Pakistan is being played at Centurion's SuperSport Park Stadium. On Friday, South Africa scored 301 runs in the first innings and took a lead of 90 runs. Aidan Markram scored 89 runs and Corbin Bosh scored 81 runs for the team.

By the end of the day's play, Pakistan had scored 88 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the second innings. Pakistan scored 211 runs in the first innings, the team is currently trailing by 2 runs. Babar Azam was not out by scoring 16 runs and Saud Shakeel was not out by scoring 8 runs.

Markram-Bavuma put on a 70-run partnership South Africa started play on the second day with a score of 82/3. Aidan Markram scored 47 and Temba Bavuma led his innings with a score of 4 runs. Both took the team past 100, Bavuma was dismissed for 31 and his 70-run partnership with Markram was broken.

Markram saved one end After Bavuma, David Bedingham was dismissed for 30, Kyle Varian 2 and Marco Janssen also dismissed for 2. The team lost 7 wickets on the score of 191 runs. Here Markram stood at one end, got support from Corbin Bosh and the score crossed 200. The duo also gave the team the lead, with Markram then dismissed for 89 runs.

Bosh took the team past 300 Even after 8 wickets fell for 213 runs, South Africa's score reached 301 runs. Corbin Bosh shared a partnership of 41 runs with Kagiso Rabada and 47 runs with Dan Patterson. Rabada was dismissed for 13 runs and Patterson was dismissed for 12 runs. Bosh remained unbeaten after scoring 81 runs, hitting 15 fours in the innings.

Khurram Shahjad and Naseem Shah took 3 wickets each for Pakistan. Aamir Jamal got 2 wickets. Mohammad Abbas and Saim Ayub also had 1-1 success.

In Centurion on Thursday, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat. Kamran Ghulam scored a fifty, the rest of the batsmen could not score more than 30 runs. The team could score only 211 runs. For South Africa, Corbin Bosch took 4 wickets and Dan Patterson took 5 wickets.
