Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 model of the Honda SP125 in India. The company has modified the engine in the 125cc premium commuter motorcycle to comply with OBD2B emission norms. The bike now comes with some cosmetic changes and features like Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. This bike will also run on E-20 petrol.
The company has presented this bike in two variants. The front drum brake variant with alloy wheels is priced at Rs. 91,771 and the front disc brake variant with alloy wheels is priced at Rs. 1,00,284, all prices are ex-showroom Delhi. In the 125cc commuter motorcycle segment, the Honda SP125 will compete with Hero Glamour, Hero Super Splendor, Honda Shine, TVS Rider etc.

Design and hardware: LED lighting setup and 18-inch alloy wheels Honda has given the updated motorcycle new LED headlamps and taillamps along with an aggressive tank shroud, chrome muffler cover and a sharp front and tail section with advanced graphics. The bike has 18 inch alloy wheels. It has 80/100 section tires at the front and 100/80 section tires at the rear.
For a comfortable ride, the bike has dual telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic type suspension setup at the rear. At the same time, for braking, a 240mm disc and 130mm drum have been optioned at the front.
Performance: 10.7BHP powerful engine as per emission norms The biggest change in the bike is in the engine. For performance, it has been given an updated engine as per OBD2B emission standards. This is a 123.94cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which generates 10.7BHP of power and 10.9NM of torque. This engine is tuned with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
OBD2 stands for On-Board Diagnostics Second Version. This system monitors vehicle circuit continuity, misfires, filters and other items. The system monitors the emissions emitted by the vehicle and notifies the rider of any irregularities. Vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025 will have to comply with the government's emission norms. Companies are changing their models for this reason.

Features: Navigation with 4.2-inch TFT display The latest bike now features a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync app support. For a better ride, it has features like navigation, voice assist, engine start-stop switch, passing switch and integrated headlamp beam. Apart from this, a USB Type-C charging port has been added to the bike.
This bike also provides rear suspension and combi brake system for the customer. To improve stability and grip levels, Honda has increased the rear tire width by 100mm. It uses PGM-FI technology, due to which the mileage of the bike will be better in real world.
