Tech company Samsung has announced the date of its annual launch event 'Galaxy Unpacked 2025'. The event will be held in California, USA on January 22, which will go live at 11:30 PM IST. The company will launch its flagship S series smartphones at the event.
These include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Apart from this, some media reports have claimed that the Korean company may also introduce a Galaxy tri-fold phone and a Galaxy S25 slim phone. The brand has started pre-booking for the smartphone.
You can pre-book the Galaxy S series flagship phone by paying a token money of Rs 2000 at Samsung's official website, exclusive stores, online and offline stores across the country. Pre-booking customers will get Rs. 5000 will be availed.
All the phones will be equipped with advanced and next generation AI The company has said that all models of the new Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be equipped with advanced and next-generation artificial intelligence technology. According to media reports, the Gemini Nano version-2 AI technology can be seen in these phones.
This technology will be used in many functions including taking photos, editing images and videos, customizing the user interface and personalizing activities.
Samsung Galaxy 25 Series: Expected Prize According to media reports, Samsung may launch the S25 at a starting price of ₹79,999, the S25 Plus at a price of ₹99,999 and the S25 Ultra at a starting price of ₹1,29,999.
Samsung Galaxy 25 Series: Expected Specifications
- Display: The Galaxy S25 could have a 6.2-inch screen, the Galaxy S25 Plus could have a 6.7-inch screen and the Galaxy S25 Ultra could have a 6.86-inch screen. A dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2x punch-hole screen can be found in these upcoming Samsung smartphones, with QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, high brightness and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
- Camera: The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra may launch with a quad rear camera and the Galaxy S25 and S25+ may launch with a triple rear camera setup. According to media reports, the back panel of the S25 Ultra will feature a 200MP main camera sensor with OIS and PDAF support. Along with this, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 50-megapixel periscope lens and a 10 MP telephoto lens can also be seen.
- Whereas, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ mobile phones will support a 50-megapixel main camera sensor, along with an ultra-wide angle lens and a telephoto sensor. Like the S24, all three phones may feature a 12-megapixel front camera on the front panel.
- Chipset: For performance, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra can be provided with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset based on 3nm fabrication. This processor comes in smartphones like OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15, IQ 13 and Realme GT 7 Pro. Whereas, the Exynos 2500 processor is expected to be available in the Galaxy S25 and S25+ models.
- Storage and RAM: All three models of the Galaxy S25 series can be offered with 12GB and 16GB RAM options. The base variant of the smallest model may start with 128GB of storage, while the top variant of the Ultra model may come with 1TB of storage.
- Battery: The battery of the Galaxy S25 series phones has not been revealed, but the smartphone is expected to pack a 5500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
