Royal Enfield has launched the Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350 bike at its annual biking event Motorovers on Saturday (November 23). The bobber-style bike is based on the company's most popular bike, the Classic 350. It is presented with four color options. These include Rave Red, Trip Teal, Purple Haze and Shake Black color options.
This bike has been launched in two variants. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs. 2.35 lakh and for the dual tone color option it is Rs. 2.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350: Design and Features The Gone Classic 350 looks similar to the company's popular bike Classic 350, but the company has made some bobber-specific changes to it. Like the classic 350, it features round LED headlights, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and curved fenders. The seat height of the bike is 750mm.
Special features of the bike include a single-piece seat, ape hanger handlebar, forward-set footpegs, slash-cut exhaust pipe, USB charging port, wire-spoke wheels and thick tires. Apart from this, it has round tail lamps, turn indicators, semi-digital instrument cluster. Like the other models, it will also be available with all the accessories and customization options.
Talking about the braking system, it has 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. The base variant can be offered with drum brakes at the rear along with single-channel ABS.
Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350: Performance The Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350 will get a 349cc J-series single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which generates 20hp of power at 6100rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. The engine is tuned to a 5-speed gearbox for transmission. This engine setup is also found in the Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350, Bullet 350 and Hunter 350. However, the company has not revealed the specifications of the engine.
