JSW MG Motor India today launched two new variants of the Hector, India's first Internet SUV. Both the new variants are introduced with a 7-seater option. These include Hector Plus Select Pro and Smart Pro. The Hector Select Pro will get a 1.5 liter petrol engine mated to a CVT transmission, while the Smart Pro variant is offered with a 2.0L diesel engine. It has a 6-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with more than 75 connected features. It has a digital Bluetooth key, which users can share.
Price starts from Rs 19.71 lakh Hector Plus 7-Seater Select Pro Rs. 19,71,800*, while the Smart Pro is priced at Rs. 20,64,800* is. The MG Hector competes with the 5-seater variants of the Tata Safari and the Mahindra XUV700. At the same time, the Hector Plus competes with the 6 and 7 seater variants of the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700.
MG Hector 7-Seater: Features Both variants come with a 14-inch HD Portrait infotainment system with wireless Apple Car Play, Android Auto and i-Smart technology, which comes with over 75 connected features. Other key highlights include a wireless phone charger and push-button start.
The exterior styling features 18-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps, floating turn indicators and LED blade-style connected tail lamps. Inside, the Smart Pro model gets leatherette seats with a dual-tone argyle brown and black theme and power adjustable driver's seat.
The MG Hector comes with Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Hold Control, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Both variants are covered under the MG Shield programme, which includes a 3-year warranty, 3-year roadside assistance and 3 labour-free periodic services.
Exterior : R18 dual tone machined alloy wheels will be available. Both the new Hector variants will get R18 dual tone machined alloy wheels. The new trims have a bold exterior design. The exterior of the car has been enhanced with LED projector headlamps, floating light turn indicators and LED blade connected tail lamps.
