- Aggrieved bride and husband wandered for FIR
Tourists in Madhya Pradesh are not safe. Incidents of violence and abuse against women are continuously increasing in such places. The incident of gangrape at a place famous for Ultra Solar Plant and Bhairav Baba Temple in Asia has sparked controversy in Rewa. Here the young couple was held hostage and gang-raped by half a dozen people. In which the accused have also made a video of the entire incident and threatened to make it viral.
Police have registered a case and arrested the suspected accused. The young couple had come for a picnic at Bhairav Baba, a tourist spot in Gudh Police Station area of Rewa district. Meanwhile, 5 unknown persons assaulted the husband and wife and took them hostage. Then the accused raped the wife in turn. Police say that the accused have made a video of the entire incident and threatened to make the video viral. Due to which the victim did not file a complaint. The accident happened on Monday. The police registered a case on Tuesday and started investigation.
This area has been developed as an industrial zone. A Regional Industrial Conclave was organized recently. In which Chief Minister Mohan Yadav along with big industrialists of the country came but the whole matter was suppressed by the police.
