Priyanka Gandhi has assets worth Rs 12 crore: Husband Robert owns ₹66 crore; BJP said – Both gave wrong information about the property

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Wednesday filed her nomination as a Congress candidate for the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election. In the affidavit, he has declared assets of more than 12 crore rupees. He has movable assets worth Rs 4.24 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 7.74 crore.

Apart from this, she has also given the details of her husband Robert Vadra's assets. Vadra's net worth is Rs. 65.54 crores, of which the value of movable properties is Rs. 37.9 crore and immovable properties Rs. 27.64 crores.

On Priyanka's affidavit, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said on Thursday – 'In Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's affidavit, false information has been given about the property of husband Robert Vadra. Robert Vadra's income is low, but the Income Tax Department is demanding more. How can this happen? He bought a house in Shimla, but paid only one-tenth of its value. That is, different teeth for showing and different teeth for eating.

Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge were also present at the time of Priyanka's nomination at the district headquarters in Kalpetta.

1. Total Income in the Financial Year 2023-2024: Over ₹46.39 lakh, which includes rental income and interest from banks and other investments.

2. Movable property- ₹4.24 crore: These include deposits in three bank accounts, investments in mutual funds, PPF, a Honda CRV car gifted by her husband Robert Vadra and more than 4400 grams of gold (a total of ₹1.15 crore Ka). .

3. Immovable property – ₹7.74 crore: This includes two inherited agricultural lands in New Delhi's Mehrauli area and half of the farmhouses built there. The current price of all these is more than ₹2.10 crore. Priyanka also owns a residential property in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, which is currently worth over ₹5.63 crore.
