Modiji, rein in your leaders: Threatens to kill Rahul; Kharge's letter to PM on hate speech against Rahul

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 74th birthday. Kharge has also written a letter to the PM, expressing concern over the hate speech against Rahul Gandhi.

Kharge said- 'The leaders of BJP and allied parties are continuously using very offensive and violent language against Rahul Gandhi. We request you to rein in such leaders.'

In fact, last week a BJP leader, a Union Minister and a Shiv Sena MLA made statements against Rahul Gandhi. Calling it a political downfall, Kharge has demanded strict action from the PM.

1. Tarvinder Singh Marwah: The BJP staged a demonstration outside Rahul Gandhi's house in Delhi on September 11. Meanwhile, BJP leader Tarwinder Singh Marwah was accused of threatening to kill Rahul.

Congress wrote on the social media platform – This is a very serious matter. This is the product of BJP's hate factory. Action should be taken regarding this. PM Modi cannot remain silent on the threat of this leader of his party.

Congress posted a video of BJP leader and former MLA Tarvinder Singh Marwah on social media platform X.

2. Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu: Union minister and BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu had on September 15 called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a terrorist. He said that Rahul Gandhi is not an Indian. They don't even love India. Rahul first tried to use the Muslims, but when that didn't happen he is now trying to divide the Sikhs.

The Union Minister said, 'Rahul Gandhi is the number one terrorist of the country. Whoever catches them should be rewarded, because they are the greatest enemy of the country. Country agencies should monitor them. In fact, Rahul Gandhi said in America that the Sikh community in India is worried whether they will be allowed to wear turbans and bracelets.

On September 15, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu called Rahul Gandhi the biggest enemy of the country.

Congress' response: On the Union Minister's statement, party spokesperson Supriya Sreeneth said that those who have made their political career by going against Rahul Gandhi are sitting on the lap of opponents and giving cheap statements in the greed of power. Ravneet Bittu has been called the serpent of the sleeve in the scriptures.

3. Sanjay Gaikwad: On September 16, Sanjay Gaikwad, MLA from Buldhana, Maharashtra, said that 'Rahul Gandhi wants to end reservation for backward classes and tribals. For this they will be rewarded, whoever cuts Rahul's tongue will be given 11 lakh rupees.

Sanjay also said that the Congress got votes in the Lok Sabha elections by falsely claiming that the Constitution was under threat. Today they are talking about abolishing reservation. Congress wants to end reservation for backward classes, OBCs and tribals. An FIR has been registered against Sanjay in Buldhana.

Uproar over Rahul Gandhi's Sikh statement Rahul Gandhi was recently on a US tour. Asked how long reservations would continue in India, he said, “Congress will consider abolishing reservations only when everyone in the country starts getting equal opportunities. There is no such situation in India at present.” He also said that there is concern among the Sikh community in India whether they will be allowed to wear turbans and bracelets.
