Mahakal's Diwali, temple drone video: Aarti from Phulzdi, silver coin worship; Roop Chaudas and Diwali will be celebrated together

Mahakal's courtyard is lit up on the festival of lights. The colorful illumination on the temple is making it more ethereal and unique. It is a tradition to start any festival in the country from the Mahakal temple. The festival of lights started with the evening aarti of Mahakal from Phulzdi on Monday 28th October, a day before Dhanteras. On Tuesday, October 29, Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh and SP Pradeep Sharma performed Dhan Teras pooja.

Baba Mahakal was accompanied by 22 priests who worshiped and anointed Kubera and silver coins. A silver coin was offered to Mahakala. In the Nandi Hall of the temple, the priests of the Purohit Samiti started the Mahakal Mahapuja by praying for prosperity, health and happiness at 9 am.

On the 31st, Annakoot will be offered in the sanctum sanctorum For the first time in the country, Roop Chaudas and Diwali will be celebrated together at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga on 31st October. Mahakala will be wonderfully decorated. Annakoot will be offered in the sanctum sanctorum. In the evening, the Koti Tirtha Kund will be decorated with lamp garlands.

Mahakala will be bathed with Panchamrut Diwali will be celebrated on 31st October in Mahakal temple. The priest will bathe the Lord with warm water. After this Mahakala will be decorated with new clothes and ornaments. After offering Annakoot, Aarti will be performed with glitter. In the temple's worship tradition, Roopa Chaudas is considered to be the beginning of cold, so the process of bathing Lord Mahakala with warm water begins, which continues till Phalgun Purnima.

First ride on 4th November, royal ride on 25th Like Sawan-Bhadrava, Kartik-Agahan also has a tradition of riding Mahakala. The ride will begin on the first Monday of the Kartak Shukla Paksha on November 4. The first ride of Kartak-Agahan month will be on Kartak Shukla Tritiya Tithi. From this day Mahakal will be taken on a tour of the city in a silver palanquin. A royal procession of Mahakal will be taken out on 25th November.
