On Monday morning, terrorists fired at an army ambulance near the LoC in Akhnoor, Jammu and Kashmir. Following this, the army cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation, which turned into an encounter. Currently firing is going on between army and terrorists.
Villagers reported that militants armed with heavy weapons were hiding near the Asan temple in Khaur's Bhattal area. After this, at around 7:25 am, the militants fired 15-20 rounds at the army ambulance. However, there is no information that soldiers were injured in this attack. Only the ambulance was damaged.
After the terror attack, the deployment of soldiers was increased in the area. A search operation was launched immediately. Meanwhile, 3 hidden terrorists opened fire on the jawans, after which a gunfight started between the army and the militants, which is ongoing.
