Giloy Kadha: Giloy decoction is a panacea for cold and stiffness, know how to make it

If you have not used Giloy, then you must have heard about its benefits. In Ayurveda, Giloy is called Amrit and its benefits are like nectar. Even during the Corona period, people used Giloy extensively. Giloy is also used in Ayurvedic medicines.

Often, in case of problems like cold and cough, a decoction is made at home by mixing some things and then consumed. Decoction is beneficial for our health. If you are troubled by chest tightness, phlegm or cold, then to avoid this problem, you can make and drink a desi decoction of Giloy. It can provide great relief to your health. Benefits of drinking Giloy decoction
Let us tell you that anti-biotic, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-viral, anti-diabetic and anti-cancer properties are found in it.
 
It strengthens our immunity and its consumption relieves cough, cold and chest tightness.
 
Giloy is also considered very beneficial in weight loss. It strengthens the metabolism and burns fat easily.
 
Black pepper and cloves are also beneficial in removing the phlegm accumulated in the chest. Because cloves and black pepper have a hot effect, which relieves the problem of sore throat and infection.
 
Consuming basil leaves provides relief from cough and cold. It also strengthens immunity.
 
Tulsi is an immunomodulatory herb, which is beneficial in cold and cough.
 
Cinnamon has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. It helps in removing phlegm from the chest.

Material
Giloy – 2 stems
Cinnamon stick – half inch
Black pepper – 4
Ajwain – half teaspoon
Cloves- 2
Ginger – 1 inch
Basil leaves – 4
How to make kadha
Put all the ingredients mentioned above in 2 cups of water and boil it well.
Then when it is reduced to half, filter it.
Drink this decoction lukewarm.
You will get relief in a few days.
