Welspun Living Limited, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of textiles, inaugurated a pillow factory in the suburb of Columbus, Ohio. The factory will employ 70 people and have an initial production capacity of 13.5 million pillows annually, including their exclusive patented GX pillow. The factory is expanding its U.S. footprint as part of a plan to produce 35 million pillows per year in the U.S. in response to growing consumer demand for better sleep. A huge investment has been made by the company in manufacturing operations.

The Ohio factory will produce good-looking pillows along with good-sleeping pillows so customers can find the pillow they love, the one they love, and the innovative one. With the factory now operational, Welspun Living aims to strengthen relationships with retail and hospitality partners by providing high-quality, locally produced products. The facility will facilitate state-of-the-art automation and support Welspun's commitment to ESG principles by ensuring sustainable manufacturing processes.

Welspun Living held an opening ceremony for the factory on Friday, October 4 at 3901 Gantz Rd in Grove City, Ohio. The ceremony began at 2 pm (EDT) and featured special guests and speakers including US Representative Mike Carey (Ohio 15th District), Darren Srebnik, Director of US Commercial Services – Columbus Consul General Somnath Ghosh.
