Nvidia launches Hindi AI model: Partnering with Reliance for AI infrastructure, Ambani compares NVIDIA to Gyan

American semiconductor chipmaker Nvidia chief Jensen Huang said on October 24 that Reliance Industries and Nvidia are partnering to build AI infrastructure in India. Nvidia also launched a Hindi AI model.

Reliance Chairman Ambani said – I am counting on Nvidia to provide good quality AI infrastructure like Jio has done in telecom. In September last year, the two talked about developing an AI supercomputer in India.

Jenson Huang joined Mukesh Ambani at 'NVIDIA AI Summit India' today. Huang and Ambani talked about AI and India here. The event started on October 23 at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai and will continue till October 25.

Big things related to the incident…

1. Ambani compared NVIDIA to Gyan

Ambani said- While listening to you, I remembered that NVIDIA is a foreign name, but it has a deep meaning. The word 'vidya' translates to 'knowledge' in Hindi.

Jensen said the NVIDIA name was well chosen. Everyone said you'd never have success with that name, but I knew it was true.

2. Huang asked Ambani- What inspires you?

Huang asked – 'No one has helped India become hi-tech like you. I know you have a deep desire to make India deep tech. What inspires you?'

Ambani said – 'We are committed to creating the best LLM in Hindi. Our first principle is to take what you are doing in the context of a knowledge revolution and transform it into an intelligence revolution. We are at the threshold of the Age of Intelligence.

Ambani said – Nvidia will build good quality AI infrastructure in the same way as Jio has built in telecom.

3. India will export AI in future

Jensen said, 'India is exporting software. India will export AI in future. The next generation will focus on the delivery of AI. This will be the fundamental difference.

Jensen believes that the production of AI will prove to be a new industrial revolution and a new industry will emerge in the future, which will be called 'intelligence production'.

4. Huang said- India should build its own AI

This is a great opportunity for India as it has a large population, especially a large number of computer engineers. These are extraordinary times for India.

India should build its own AI is the need of the hour. You don't need to export data to import intelligence.

5. I don't know what impact AI will have on jobs – Huang

I don't know what effect AI will have on jobs, but people who are using AI to automate 20%-50% can take your job away.

For a long time, I hope that humans will have their own personal AI assistant and partner who will take care of the things that matter to them.
