if you have kidney problems
People who already have kidney related problems should also not consume Amla. Actually, Amla is rich in oxalate, which can cause kidney stones. If you have ever had stones before or are at risk of them, then avoid consuming Amla. Especially, do not take it raw or in the form of juice.
If you are taking blood thinning medication
Consuming Amla can prove to be harmful for you when you are already taking blood thinning medication. Amla can act as a natural blood thinner. Therefore, if you are already taking medications like warfarin or aspirin, taking amla may increase the risk of excessive bleeding or bruising.
