India has captured the women's Asian Hockey Championship trophy held in Rajgir, Bihar. Team India has defeated China 1-0. In the 31st minute of the first match of the third quarter, Deepika scored the first goal for Team India, leading India to victory.
Both teams failed to score a single goal in a total of 30 minutes of play in the first and second quarters. The teams of India and China were tied 0-0. In the second quarter, India got 4, China got 2 penalty corners. However, neither team could convert it into goals.
The final match between India and China women's hockey teams started at 5 pm at the Rajgir Sports Complex. The stadium with a capacity of 3 thousand was completely filled with spectators. Tricolor was hoisted in the stadium. There were also chants of Jai Shri Ram.

Japan beat Malaysia 4-1 to win bronze Earlier today, Japan won the bronze medal by defeating Malaysia 4-1. Japan played an aggressive game and scored 4 goals in the first half. Mayuri Horikawa scored in the 3rd minute, Hiroka Murayama in the 24th minute, Ayana Tamura in the 28th minute and Miu Hasegawa scored the fourth goal before halftime.
Ajmara Azhari made his presence felt for Malaysia by scoring in the 48th minute. Both the teams will now face each other in the upcoming Asian Games as well.
