Also, if there is one best place to celebrate Christmas in Europe, it is Vienna. For those who want to visit Vienna for sightseeing, the city also has plenty of places to visit. Here are some places in Vienna that are fun for kids and adults alike… Museum Quarter : So when we hear the name museum, we think of old preserved objects and dark rooms. But Vienna's Museum Quarter is the modern incarnation of the museum. Various paintings by 20th century artists, art and modern design artworks are preserved here. Also, at this museum you will get to see the history of the city of Vienna from pop culture to the 16th century. There is a separate section called ZOOM in the Museum Quarter. There are special creative activities for children under 14 years of age. This part of the museum has various animations, paintings, ocean themed rooms, ship decks, mirror tunnels etc. attractions for children. Also worth visiting is the bar at the top of this museum. Who better than us to understand the significance of taking a dip in the Danube? If you're visiting Vienna during the summer, don't miss a dip in the Danube River. Since Vienna is located on the banks of the Danube River, the river runs through most of the city. And that's why there are so many Danube river attractions here. The Alte Donau is a good option for enjoying the water without getting into the river. There are various attractions that kids will love including artificial waves. Also you can enjoy boating in the river by hiring a boat from many places in the city. Apart from this, the Danube Tower on the banks of the river is also a fun option to enjoy the beauty of the river. The tallest building in Vienna is the Danube Tower. A large viewing gallery is located on the top floor and people can enjoy a wonderful view of the Danube River and the city of Vienna from there. Viennese wine splendor: The wine industry is one of the world's largest sources of income. Almost every city in Europe has its own special wine. Although wine grapes are often grown outside the city, Vienna is the only city in the world where wine grapes are grown in the middle of the city. If you have visited this city, you should visit the Gigerl area in the middle of the city to see the wine making process. The variety of grapes, the wine aged in wooden drums for years and the process of making the wine are interesting and enjoyable. Vienna's wines are world famous. So those who are interested can also enjoy drinking freshly made wine. Stroll the City Streets in a Tram: A tram ride is never to be missed. Because this historic mode of transportation is now disappearing. Trams are a fun way to get around Vienna. Trams passing through the city's districts 10 and 19 cover many major attractions such as the Belvedere Palace, the State Opera, the Burgtheater and the Parliament Building. Also, since the ticket is only two and a half euros, everyone can afford to ride the tram. If you only want to use public transport to get around Vienna, it is advisable to buy a city card. This card is issued for 24, 48 and 72 hours. You can get this card from viennacitycard.at and benefit from many other services with its help. Apart from all these, Vienna has a lot of places to see, know and enjoy. As grand and modern as the city is, its historical heritage is well preserved. Vienna's massive churches, a small underground city, lakes, gardens, interesting buildings, about a dozen museums and political structures that have stood for centuries are enough to mesmerize you. Traveling in this city is personally safe and there are no restrictions on loitering. However, since the German language is dominant in this country, you will find most of the boards in German and the people here also prefer to speak German. So it is advisable to learn some important words of German language. }
