No flights could take place in the ongoing Paragliding World Cup in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district's Bir Billing Valley on Tuesday. Today bad weather created a hurdle. Pilots and planners waited for the weather to clear throughout the day, but fog persisted into the evening and the skies remained lightly overcast.
However, the participants were given a target to fly 147 kilometers in the morning. Some pilots started flying, but at 1 pm the weather worsened. After this the toast was stopped. Meanwhile, Aero Club India President Rajeev Pratap reached Rudy Bid Billing. He assured all possible help from the central government to build infrastructure in bid billing.

Meanwhile, America's Austin Cox is on the first place in Paragliding World Cup with 1496 points. Kazakhstan's Alexander is second with 1410 points and Poland's Dominik Kapica is third with 1408 points.
In the women's category, Poland's Joanna Koc is first with 1202 points, Brazil's Marina Oleksina is second with 649 points and Austria's Polina Pirch is third with 567 points.
Ankit Sood, spokesperson of Billings Paragliding Association, said that no competition could be held today due to bad weather. Now tomorrow 73 pilots will take off for the adventure.

In the competition, the overall third place winner will receive a prize of 2,222 euros, the second place winner will receive 2,777 euros and the first place winner will receive 3,333 euros.

9 Formation of rescue team 9 rescue teams have been formed to protect the paragliders. While 5 teams have been deployed in Bir-Billing valley along with helicopter and ambulance service during the event for recovery.
