Search can be used manually on the chatbot, as well as initiated from the web search icon. This includes links to news and blogs. Apart from this, the 'Source' button provides a complete list of references, which will help in verifying the information.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in his post on social media platform X that users should use ChatGPT Plus by installing the Chrome extension for better search results. Users can easily install the Chrome extension of ChatGPT Plus on their desktop.

OpenAI has added new visual designs to ChatGPIT Search for Weather, Stocks, Sports, News, and Maps. For example, when you search the weather of New York, the weather of the whole week is shown in interactive form.

OpenAI shares a variety of search queries with third-party service providers like Bing so it can provide accurate answers. Users' IP addresses are also shared to increase accuracy. These make ChatGPT's search experience even better.

Now available for ChatGPT Plus and Team users ChatGPT Search will be available to ChatGPT Plus and Team users first. Enterprise, Edu users will get access to it in the coming weeks. After this, free users will also be able to use it in a few months.
