Setu: Said 'You, but believe it!

Lata Hirani

Radbhai was going to Rajkot with his family. Everyone was enjoying the journey rather than talking. Everyone in the house is very fond of singing. Music is inherited by all. Sharadbhai's elder sister Nayanabehan also joined this journey. Nayanabhan proposed, let us play antakadi and the jingle of songs began. On the way they all stopped at a small hotel to rest. Everyone turned around a little and released their legs. Sharadbhai says that a good hotel will come next, so we will have tea and breakfast there. No one said anything. Sharadbhai's nature is very angry. Everyone should avoid arguing against them as far as possible. Everyone moved towards the car. Nayanaben was behind everyone. Maybe he didn't hear the next thing. He also wanted to drink tea. He said, 'Brother, do you want to drink tea? So let's have a drink.' Sharadbhai's anger escaped. 'How many times have you been told not to take names on your way out? Now get upset everyone!' The poor sister was longing. 'Hey, let me drink if you want. And yet, if you are like that, where else do we have to catch the train! Leave ten minutes late! 'No, no, but you have a habit, make omens while going out…' 'Brother, I don't believe in such a dream. And there is a cure for it. If we drink water or eat mukhawas, then the naming will be solved.' 'I know you've all become very sophisticated.' Sharadbhai's voice was not cold. Poor Naynaabhen! One was older than Sharadbhai and joined together only on the insistence of his sister-in-law. In the presence of his sister-in-law and children, he was humiliated by his humiliation over something as trivial as tea. His eyes filled with tears. Bhabhi gently tells Nayanabehan, 'You will not bring less to mind. Such is their nature.' Without saying anything, the two girls got into the car. The car took off. Nani Shalini says, let us start Antkadi. No one was in the mood. Next came a good hotel in which tea and breakfast were served, but the burden did not ease from anyone's mind. It was time to come to Rajkot, but there was a traffic jam somewhere on the way due to an accident at night. It took time to reach Rajkot. All the way, Sharadbhai kept saying, 'I was saying that! Believe me! An omen is an omen!' There was a rush of cars on the road. In all the cars, someone has taken the name of tea or something else?

* * * Gangaba spoke loudly, 'Ali is night, night. Are you tired?' 'Looks like it, big brother.' 'Yes, this student has a long tongue. In all things argument…argument…argument.' 'What did I argue, mother? I simply said, yes, it is night.' 'You must know what I want you to do!' Sweetu laughed. But thinking that Motiba would be angry, she suppressed a laugh and said, 'Yes ba, don't turn at night!' 'Tanya hm hawayani lai ne atare mandi padi che?' You know, at eight o'clock in the evening, the craftsmen left the house. The whole house is littered and we have to sleep at night. Shouldn't it be cleaned?' 'It's like having to make a bed downstairs! We are going to sleep on a fun bed.' 'Hey baby, why do you like to sleep when the bottom is full of garbage? Even if you have to sleep on the bed!' 'Said, night is coming. Eli, the wealth of the house is gone.' Sweetu's veins were strained. Talk to Motiba. Clinging to his old ways like a stick. He continued to bend silently. Motiba's anger flared up and turned into more harsh words. 'Look Motiaba, now tell me if you want to listen to me calmly.' 'Yes, now it's time for us to listen to you.' 'Look, there was no light in the days before Motiba. People used to work with lamps and lanterns. Now, if a small work item has fallen down in the house and if the garbage is thrown away, it may not be visible and the work item goes into the garbage. If people don't believe directly, then something like this has been added so that people will believe. That's all. Now these are the flashing lights all around. If something has fallen down, look comfortably. Don't worry about losing. Then why hold on to such an old thing? Why should Lakshmiji live with so much dust and garbage all around?' Sweetu turned on the broom again. Motiba became silent but his mind was not resolved. He was not at all ready to give up his old insistences by understanding the new thing. With a serious face, he sat on one side with the left hand of his bajar.
