Question: I am a 30 year old female. My son is eight years old. My son is very enthusiastic about bursting firecrackers but my problem is that when he bursts firecrackers when he inhales the smoke he has a severe cough. In these circumstances my doctor friend has advised to burst green crackers. Is bursting green crackers less harmful to health? A woman (Ahmedabad) Answer : Your friend's advice is correct. Green crackers are a better alternative to regular crackers. It is less harmful to the environment. These crackers emit less pollution than regular crackers, which helps in keeping the air quality safe during Diwali. These crackers produce less smoke and toxic gases when burnt, which is less harmful to the air quality as well as if inhaled. Less harmful to health. Green crackers are smaller than conventional crackers, resulting in less raw material use. They use special chemicals, which emit less particulate matter (PM) and gases compared to conventional crackers. This helps prevent air quality from deteriorating. These firecrackers make less noise than normal firecrackers due to which children can be protected from harm caused by excessive noise. Although fake or adulterated crackers can be sold in the name of green crackers, it is important to have the right information to identify them. Apart from this, Tulsi has many medicinal properties, so consuming Tulsi leaves is beneficial for your health. If you drink 10-15ml of Tulsi juice every day, it helps to clean the pollutants in your bronchial tubes. Apart from this, you should boil 5-6 basil leaves and grind some ginger in it. Then add jaggery and boil it properly. Filter this water and drink it. Drinking this mixture of Tulsi will remove the toxins from your body. You can boil neem leaves and drink it, this will remove the harmful particles from your body. Apart from this, if you bathe with boiled neem leaves water, the toxins on your skin will be removed. If you consume neem leaves two to three times a week, it will purify your blood and your body will not be affected by pollution. Foods rich in vitamin C should be consumed in the diet. Oranges and lemons are good sources of vitamin C. The substances found in these fruits strengthen our immune system and also provide the ability to fight against many diseases. Pollution will not affect your body if you consume foods rich in vitamin C. Question: I am a 35-year-old woman living in a joint family. I have five children in my family ranging from five years to thirteen years and all of them love bursting crackers. First, immerse the burnt area in cold water for ten to fifteen minutes. Do not make the mistake of applying ice to the area, as ice will further damage the skin tissue. Its anti-inflammatory properties help in drying the wound and relieving inflammation. Apart from this, common inflammation can be removed by using honey. Avoid applying Coparel to the burn area. Also toothpaste, ghee, egg white or ice can aggravate the problem. Also take tetanus shots after consulting a doctor once. Question: I am a 42 year old male. I am very fond of delicious food and because of this every year stomach problems after Diwali. Apart from this, the problem of constipation and flatulence is also faced. I was told by my friend that body detox after Diwali will not be a problem for me. So what to do to detox the body? Consuming it gives relief from acidity problem. Drink lemon water regularly in the morning on an empty stomach. Eating curd daily is also beneficial. Yogurt contains good bacteria. They work to keep the intestines healthy. They help flush out toxins from the body. Consumption of curd helps to relieve constipation and flatulence. Fruits contain many nutrients. It is rich in fiber vitamins and minerals. It has antioxidant properties. You can consume fruits in the form of salads and juices. They help remove toxins from the body. Green tea has antioxidant properties. It works to protect the body from free radical damage. Regular consumption of green tea works to detox your body.
