Raag Bindas: Abhaya Padhari Diwali : Bring a few Ukhanas

Titles: Keeping the festival alive. (Chelvani) A Surti and an Ahmedabadi together burst thousands of firecrackers on the night of Diwali. Surti asked Ahmedabadi, 'Having fun?' 'Double than you.' Ahmedabadi said. 'In what way?' Surti asked. 'Baka, I enjoyed fireworks for free? My 10,000 from above also saved.' Ahmedabadi winked. 'Shameless, when will you burst?' Surti asked. 'Next Diwali… at your house… where else?' Ahmedabadi said with a smile. Like every year, we know what we will get to see and read this Diwali. Like- a topic like 'Cleaning campaign in Diwali'. Yet every year people write enthusiastically about the cleanliness of Diwali. Also, in America, Australia or Europe, where Diwali is not cleaned, there is more cleaning than us. Believed that the house, neighborhood, closets, storages, food (even nose-ears etc.) must be kept clean, but what makes Diwali a 'hero'? While cleaning, many people feel as if an Anarkali ring has been found in Mohenjo-dado excavations. Hey, if old shoes or clothes do not come out of the house, can the Kohinoor hero be found? Many find a deeper meaning in junk-kabadi items: 'Just as we clean the house by removing old items during Diwali cleaning, old relationships, old feelings should also be removed from life and thrown out!' The advice is very good but the old bucket can be thrown in the garbage but a useless relationship is the past and even God does not have the formula to destroy the past. Also, how can old relationships or feelings be cleansed? Suppose, you try to do that in your mind, you remember the beautiful 'Madhuri' of your society and ask her to get it out of your mind, 'Jati Rahe Madhuri.. Jati Rahe!'- at the same time your wife enters and winks at you. 'Madhuri-Madhuri' will catch you saying. That 'Madhuri' will be gone from the mind but the wife will definitely leave the house! So it is easy to say 'cleansing of the mind' etc., but if you try, Holi will burn in the house instead of Diwali. Interval: Sab Ke Angan Diya Jale Re Mere Angan Jiya. (Neeraj) A woman bought an iron in the Diwali sale from an electronics shop and then angrily asked, 'Why only an iron? With T. V. So give it!' The salesman said, 'What? T on the iron of a thousand. V.?' 'Your ad had it – a tee on an iron. V. Free!' Hearing this, the salesman fainted. The manager went to explain the sister. So Peli said, 'Lyo! Seeing in the advertisement, I had to take two irons!' Then the manager also unconscious. Diwali will be plagued by the dreaded 'cliché', i.e. one's chewed-up, ready-made platitudes. In which our condition will be like that manager. Some very boring sentences will appear in mobile phone messages or videos! Like – 'After Diwali, let's start the new year with new resolutions', 'Diwali is the festival of light, so let's remove the inner darkness and welcome the light', but what exactly is the meaning of 'inner light'? In the lungs, stomach or kidneys? Some wise people will say: 'Remove the darkness of ignorance in the soul', while the same people say that 'there is happiness in ignorance.' The more we know, the more sorrow.' Also, till now we were ignorant that inflation will go with the change of government, but then we got the knowledge that governments come and go and our life will remain the same. So common people like us should not tease the mind by wasting wrong energy in removing ignorance! Bombardment of Diwali thoughts. 'Rangoli in the mind', 'Jeevan main sathiya bhai deva' are all print-magazines or forwarded s. M. It looks good in S and it is also true. But bro, how often? Remember from the print-magazine why all the Diwali issues are almost the same? In the cover page, a beautiful woman can be seen smiling with a lamp or a flower vase in her hand. Why so? Are only women happy to wear nice clothes on Diwali? Thought girls or housewives look beautiful in Diwali decorations but handsome men should also find a place on the covers of Diwali issues? Men should respect the movement on this! It is grossly unfair to men who spend their hard-earned or bonus money on family shopping on Diwali- Mithai Wager! True equality between men and women will be considered only when the photo of a helpless man spending money in the glittering bazaars is printed in Diwali issues. What is it that Diwali cleaning is done at home but what about the garbage we do on the road by bursting firecrackers? Shopping is done but to show off one's own happiness, greetings are given but not face to face only S. M.S. But… and now people run away from the city to resort or hill stations to seek peace and return there to create unrest by bursting firecrackers. However, such discrepancies are the fun in life. So remove the dark inside? I'll just look for a torch from the gardener. Till then Happy-Diwali in Advance… End-Titles: Adam: Do you know Rangoli? Eve: As much as Chandla! }
