Former British Prime Minister David Cameron has praised Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Speaking at the NDTV World Summit, Cameron said – I am a fan of Virat Kohli. His leadership quality is excellent.
At this summit of The India Century, when Cameron was asked about his favorite cricketer, he said – When I was growing up, I loved India's Bishan Singh Bedi. After this I also liked Rahul Dravid's batting very much. He scored a brilliant century against England. I remember it well. I liked his batting.
Cameron said that when he was growing up he liked Bishan Singh Bedi and then Rahul Dravid.
As Stokes was the captain, Kohli did the same Cameron called Virat Kohli a great player. He said about Kohli that- You can see that the way Ben Stokes is captaining our (England) team at this time, Kohli was also captaining in the same way. Both of them have shown great leadership on the field.
Virat Kohli is currently participating in the series with India and New Zealand. While Ben Stokes is captaining England in the series with Pakistan.
British talent of Indian origin is amazing Cameron also expressed his views on British players of Indian origin. He said – In recent times we have seen the talent of the best British players of Indian origin. More players of Indian origin are coming in the coming time.
