An incident of mob lynching has come to light in Mumbai, Maharashtra. A 27-year-old youth was beaten up by 10-15 people in front of his family in Malad East. The incident is on October 12. The video of this incident went viral on Monday.
The man had an argument with an auto driver over overtaking, after which several auto drivers and local shopkeepers beat him up. The mob also kicked the victim's mother when she fell on him to save her. Meanwhile, the victim's wife miscarried in the fight.
The victim's father sustained an eye injury when he tried to stop the mob. Due to which his left eye has been permanently damaged.

The family was going to buy a car on Dussehra According to preliminary information, the victim was a member of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). His name is said to be Akash. The incident took place on October 12 when he was going to buy a new car with his family on Dussehra. An auto overtook his car near Malad railway station, leading to an altercation between the rickshaw puller and Akash.
As the dispute escalated, the rickshaw puller along with his friends and local shopkeepers attacked Akash. They kept kicking the sky. Due to which he suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to the hospital's trauma center, where Akash succumbed to his injuries.
Police arrested 9 accused A case has been registered in Dindoshi Police Station regarding this incident. Police released a statement saying that a fight broke out over overtaking in Mumbai's Goregaon, in which a person was beaten up. The 9 accused were arrested and produced in court from where they were sent to police custody till October 22.
