Man Arrested With Weapons Outside Trump Rally: Shotgun and Handgun in Car, Former President Fired 3 Months Ago

Fear of another assassination attempt has been expressed on Donald Trump, the former President of the United States and the presidential candidate of the Republican Party. Trump was addressing a rally in Coachella, California on Saturday, October 12, according to CNN. Meanwhile, an armed person was arrested by the security personnel.

Police recovered a shotgun, a loaded handgun and 1 high capacity magazine from the suspect's black SUV. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said he had fake press and VIP passes, which raised suspicion.

Police said on Sunday that the 49-year-old accused has been identified as Wem Miller. Suspect Miller has been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm and is being held on $5,000 bond. He will be produced in court on January 2, 2025. The Riverside County Sheriff will soon hold a press conference to detail the case.
