First Plane Lands at Navi Mumbai Airport: Successful Landing of Air Force C-295; CM Shinde also boarded the plane; The airport will open in March

Indian Air Force aircraft C-295 made a successful landing at Navi Mumbai International Airport on Friday. This was a runway testing trial. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde was also seen sitting in the plane.

According to the airport operator, the Indian Air Force transport carrier C-295 landed on the south runway 26 of the airport at 12.14 pm. The aircraft was also given a water cannon salute.

This airport is built by Adani Group. Flight operations will start at the airport by March 2025. The capacity of the airport is 10-11 crore passengers.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde was also present in the plane. After the successful landing he showed the sign of victory.

Navi Mumbai Airport was built at a cost of Rs 18000 crore Adani Group Airport Business Rs. 60,000 crore is going to be spent. The Adani Group will spend on city-side infrastructure along with runways, taxiways, aircraft parking stands and terminals over the next 10 years.

Development of first phase of Navi Mumbai Airport Rs. 18,000 crore has been spent. It is expected to be operational by March 2025. Including this investment, the Adani Group has invested a total of Rs. 78,000 crore will be spent.

The company will develop a capacity of 25 to 30 crores by 2040 Adani Group acquired Mumbai Airport in 2021 and took over Navi Mumbai Airport from JVK Group, its construction is in final stage. Their capacity is currently 10 crore to 11 crore passengers. The group is focusing on increasing its capacity from 25 to 30 crore passengers in the next 16 years i.e. by 2040.
