Today is the birth anniversary of Jai Prakash Narayan. SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav has announced to lay wreath at Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan National Convention Center i.e. JPNIC. Akhilesh and Sarkar have come face to face in this matter. Akhilesh is adamant about wearing the necklace, the administration has made perfect arrangements to stop him.
Force has been deployed outside Akhilesh's house since morning. Barricading has been done. Strings are being laid. Akhilesh posted a home video on X and wrote – his every work is a symbol of negativity. Barricades have been put up outside the house to stop us. SP asked – Is Akhilesh being put under house arrest? Yogiji please clarify.
Meanwhile, the government has issued a letter regarding Akhilesh's programme. Said- JPNIC may have animals due to rain, so offering garlands is not safe.
The incident started at 10 pm on Thursday. Akhilesh posted a video on X, in which workers were seen erecting a wall of tin sheds at the JPNIC gate. He wrote- It is not a sign of civilized people to stop paying tribute to someone. Then reached JPNIC twice between 11:15 to 11:30 pm. He said to ACP Vikas Jaiswal- Let's see how long you can stand?

This is the second time that the Akhilesh government has come face-to-face on the birth anniversary of Jai Prakash Narayan. Last year the gate of JPNIC was not open so Akhilesh jumped the gate and entered. In fact, the construction of JPNIC was initiated by the SP government in 2013. When the Yogi government came to power in 2017, an inquiry into the construction began.
Since then the construction has been incomplete. Public access is also closed here. Citing it, the government does not want to let anyone in. Calling it a creation of the SP government, Akhilesh is adamant about paying floral tributes to the statue of JP installed inside.

Akhilesh jumped the 8 feet gate
Last year, the force was on alert from morning to stop Akhilesh outside the gate of JPNIC. LDA did not even allow Akhilesh Yadav to wear necklace. In the morning, the SP started the protest. About 500 SP supporters sat on strike at the gate.
Akhilesh also clashed with the policemen. More than 100 police forces tried to stop them. The gate was locked. A tin shed wall was erected. But, could not stop. Akhilesh entered JPNIC by jumping over a gate about 8 feet high.
Akhilesh garlanded the statue of Jayaprakash Narayan. Then they returned and jumped the gate and came out. Taking a dig at the government, Akhilesh said – if you tease, we will not leave.
