A decline is seen in the stock market today i.e. on 25th September. The Sensex is trading around 100 points lower at 84,800. At the same time, the Nifty is down around 50 points, trading at the 25,900 level.
IT, banking and FMCG stocks are witnessing decline. Similarly, metal and energy shares are also seeing an increase. Before this, yesterday i.e. on 24th September, the stock market had made an all-time high for the fourth consecutive trading day.
Asian markets saw a surge today
- Most Asian markets are bullish today. China's Shanghai Composite Index is down 1.65% and Korea's Kospi is down 0.089%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index is up 1.82%.
- On September 24, the US market's Dow Jones closed up 0.20% at 42,208. The Nasdaq rose 0.56% to 18,074 and the S&P 500 rose 0.25% to 5,732.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) on September 24 invested Rs. 2,784.14 crore worth of shares were sold. During this period Domestic Investors (DII) invested Rs. 3,868.31 crore worth of shares were bought.
KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration's IPO opens today
The Initial Public Offer (IPO) of KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration Ltd will open today. Investors can bid for this IPO till September 27. The company's shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 3.
Last day of Manba Finance IPO
Today is the last day of Manba Finance Limited's IPO i.e. Initial Public Offer. The company's shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on September 30. The IPO was opened on September 23.
The market was at an all-time high yesterday
Prior to this, the stock market hit an all-time high on September 24th, for the fourth consecutive trading day. Sensex touched the level of 85,163 and Nifty touched the level of 26,011 during the trading. However, the market fell after this and the Sensex closed down 14 points at 84,914. At the same time, the Nifty gained just 1 point, closing at 25,940.
