Global report: Fitness craze makes people sick 89% continue to over-exercise

Health and awareness has also increased amid changing lifestyles, work load and increasing risk of diseases like BP-Diabetes across the world. From TV to social media platforms, health tips are also shared. Not only that, people also share their experiences by looking at it. Due to this many people feel undue pressure to improve their health. According to a report, people are getting sick while maintaining good health.

The research revealed that 89% over-exercise under pressure while 61% admitted that they are pressured by society to look better while 53% struggle with a variety of information problems on the same subject. The pressure to improve health forces them to overthink and focus on what is missing in life.

According to the Lululemon Global Wellbeing Report, 2024, this increases the problem of 'health fatigue' or 'wellbeing burnout'. Social, mental and physical health of the world has not seen any significant improvement in the last four years. According to the report we should focus on mindfulness. A 12% improvement in health was reported among people who practiced meditation. Apart from this, the benefits of keeping the body active throughout the day and spending time in nature have also been seen.
