Iranian President Masoud Pazkian addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. He said that Iran will not respond to Israel's attack in Lebanon for now. It can increase tension in the area.
Pazashkian said that Israel must be stopped, otherwise the entire Middle East and then the world will be in the grip of war. He appealed to the international community to immediately stop the violence and enforce a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
This is the first time the 70-year-old Iranian leader has expressed his views on the international stage. Pajshkian became the President of Iran in July after the death of Ibrahim Raisi.
Pazashkian said Iran has never started a war in the last 100 years.
Pazashkian said – Israel's reality has been exposed The Iranian president also accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. He said that 41 thousand innocent people have been brutally killed in Gaza in the last 11 months. Most of them were women and children. In the last one year, the reality of Israel has been exposed to the world.
Pazashkian said that Israel had been defeated. He is supporting terrorist groups like ISIS. He said that Israel has also killed Iranian scientists, diplomats and their guests.
Iran is ready for talks, said on nuclear deal Pazshkian also mentioned the historic 2015 nuclear deal. He said a deal was reached in 2015 to curb the nuclear program after which restrictions on them were lifted. But Trump unilaterally pulled out of the deal.
Iran's president said unilateral sanctions target innocent people and harm the country's economy. He said that Iran is ready to talk to the parties concerned with the nuclear deal on this issue.
Pazhakian said that if a war breaks out in the Middle East, it will not benefit anyone.
The Iranian President said- It is necessary to prevent Lebanon from becoming another Gaza Before this, the President of Iran gave an interview to CNN on Tuesday. In which he appealed to the international community that Lebanon should not be allowed to become another Gaza. He also said that Iran does not want war.
Iran's president said Israel is taking us to a place we don't want to go. Pazashkian said that because Israel is getting the support of the West, Hezbollah cannot confront it alone.
