Alia Bhatt gave birth to daughter Raha on 6 November 2022. Recently, Alia has said that before the birth of her daughter, she discussed the baby's name with Jr. NTR. During the discussion, junior NTR liked the name Raha so much that he prayed for the birth of a daughter.
Recently Jr NTR has promoted his film Deora along with Alia Bhatt's Jigra. Meanwhile, Karan Johar also interviewed both of them. During an interview, Alia said that this love started when Taarak (junior NTR) met at the press meet of the film Brahmastra held in Hyderabad. I remember, I was pregnant at that time. Taarak told me, the event will be done but then you have to come to my house for dinner. We were having dinner and talking. When we thought about the name of the baby for the first time.
Alia further said, “We were talking about it in front of everyone, Ranbir and I were deciding that if it's a boy we'll keep this name and if it's a girl we'll keep it.” Meanwhile, Karan asked if the name Raha was discussed in that discussion. On this Alia said, yes we thought. We picked a few names. On this Jr NTR said, I prayed that Raha would be named and finally it happened.
Alia Bhatt has worked with Jr. NTR in the film RRR. These days the actress is busy promoting her upcoming film Jigra. Jigra will release on October 11, with Vedang Raina in the lead role. Junior NTR's film Deora will release on September 27.
