Yamaha India Motors yesterday (September 23) launched an updated model of the RAY-ZR street rally scooter in the Indian market. The scooter now gets new features like 'answer back' function and LED daytime running lights. Apart from this, the scooter has been introduced with a hybrid engine and new color options.
The updated scooter has been priced at Rs 98,130. After the new update, the price of the scooter has become Rs 2,000 more expensive than the previous model. The scooter is available for booking at Yamaha dealerships in India. Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Hero Destiny 125 and Suzuki Ace 125 are competing in the Yamaha RayZR Street Rally.

What's New in the Updated Yamaha RayZR? The updated model comes with an 'Answer Back' function, which will help users locate the RayZR Street Rally in crowded areas. As soon as you tap on 'Answer Back' on the mobile app, the scooter's indicators will start flashing and the buzzer will also beep.
Apart from this, LED daytime running lamps are also provided. RayZR Street Rally features 2 tier seating with dual tone color option. These include ice flue-vermilion, matte green and matte black. After the new update, the styling of the scooter has become sharper and more powerful than before. This scooter has 21 liters of under seat storage.

Performance: Automatic stop and start features The Razer Street Rally scooter is powered by a 125cc single cylinder air-cooled engine with mild hybrid assist. Which generates 8.2hp of power and 10.3Nm of torque. The engine is tuned with a CVT gearbox for transmission.
The engine is BS VI OBD2 and E-20 fuel compliant and is one of the mild hybrid petrol scooters. It gets automatic stop and start feature and smart motor generator for fuel save and silent start.

Features: Digital instrument screen For a comfortable ride, it features telescopic suspension at the front and monocoque suspension at the rear. For braking, Yamaha has provided a front disc and rear drum brake setup for the scooter. Talking about the features, the scooter has Y Connect Bluetooth connectivity with side stand engine cut off switch and digital instrument screen.

Yamaha recently launched its brand campaign 'The Call of the Blue' version 4.0, with a new slogan 'Hear the Call Now', replacing the previous slogan 'Have you heard the call?' is based on is updated. India Yamaha Motor has launched this campaign to attract young bike riders.
