Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt said- Vinesh should apologize to the country: Said- He lost the medal; Later called it a conspiracy

Former wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt has said that Vinesh Phogat should apologize to the country, as it cost India a medal at the Paris Olympics.

41-year-old Dutt said in a show 'If I were Vinesh, I would apologize to the country that I could not lose weight, but it is being welcomed.'

Vinesh was disqualified from the Paris Olympics due to being overweight. Despite reaching the final, he lost the medal.

Vinesh is contesting the Haryana elections on a Congress ticket, while Dutt is contesting the assembly elections from the BJP. This time he did not get a ticket. He won a bronze medal in the London Olympics.

Yogeshwar Dutt won bronze in the 60 kg weight category at the London Olympics.

3 key things about Yogeshwar Dutt…

1. Going into politics is a personal decision Yogeshwar said entering politics is a personal decision, but the country should know the truth. Whatever happened in the last one year, whether it was the disqualification from the Olympics or the wrestlers' agitation over Jantar-Mantar, created a false image of India and misrepresented it all over the world.

2. Reception even after losing the medal, false Assumptions arose Continuing his story, Yogeshwar said that people were called on Jantar-Mantar by giving false information about the movement. This was completely wrong. Even after the country lost the medal, there was a perception that something was wrong with Vinesh. If I were in Vinesh's place I would have apologized to the whole country that I could not lose my weight, but here I am being welcomed.

3. Wrestling is easier than politics In response to a question, Yogeshwar said that wrestling is easy because you will spend your life in the game of politics, but you will not learn politics. Lying to people and deceiving them is the worst thing in politics.

Yogeshwar Dutt said, In politics, heads count, but in wrestling, your strength works. Being in politics lets you know who is with you and who is not. Such people also move forward which do not exist.

Vinesh was disqualified for being 100 grams overweight Vinesh Phogat was disqualified before the Paris Olympics final for being 100 grams overweight. He then appealed against it to the CAS, but the appeal was rejected.
