Chiranjeevi's name included in the Guinness Book: 537 songs in 156 films including 24 thousand dance steps; A record made in a film career of 45 years

Megastar Chiranjeevi's name has been included in the Guinness World Records. He received this honor for performing 24 thousand dance moves in 537 songs from 156 films in a career spanning 45 years. Actor Aamir Khan honored him with this award. Aamir Khan also hugged Chiranjeevi after giving the award.

Chiranjeevi's Political Journey Chiranjeevi's Political Journey: Apart from films, Chiranjeevi also tried his hand in politics. He started Praja Rajyam Party, a political party in Andhra Pradesh in 2008. At the launch of the party, he said that social justice is the main agenda of his party. In the 2009 general elections, the party won 18 of the 294 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, on 6 February 2011, Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party merged with the Indian National Congress. After this merger, he was sworn in as a member of the Rajya Sabha on 28 October 2012. He was made the Tourism Minister.

In 2014, he campaigned on behalf of the party in the Parliamentary and Assembly elections of Andhra Pradesh. However, he refused to contest the election. All the candidates of his party were defeated in this election. After this election, Chiranjeevi did not participate in any parliamentary meeting. His tenure as a Rajya Sabha member ended in April 2018. He has not been active in politics since then.
