That is, the cost of the battery will be charged as a rental fee based on the number of kilometers you drive, where you have to pay it as an EMI every month but you have to pay separately for charging the battery.

The MG Comet is offered under the BAAS program with a battery charge of Rs 2.5 per km. That is, after driving the car for 100 kilometers, you have to pay Rs 250 as battery rent to the company.
The Comet EV's electric powertrain remains unchanged. It has a 17.3 kwh lithium ion battery, which gives a range of 230 km once fully charged. The car has a rear wheel drive permanent magnet synchronous motor, which generates 40hp of power and 110Nm of torque.
