Voting continues for presidential election: Trump votes in Florida, says- We will win the election; Kamala will attend the family dinner

Voting for the 47th presidential election in the United States began at 4 pm IST on Tuesday. Voting will be completed in almost all 50 states by 9 am on Wednesday, November 6. Counting of votes will begin as soon as polling in the states is over.

Donald Trump from the Republican Party and Kamala Harris of Indian origin from the Democratic Party are in the running for the presidency. Kamala Harris is currently the Vice President of the United States, while Trump has been the President from 2017 to 2021.

There are a total of 538 electoral votes i.e. seats in the 50 states of America and the capital Washington DC. Either Trump or Kamala needs to win 270 seats to win the election.

First results in 12 minutes Results were in just 12 minutes after polls opened in New Hampshire. There were only 6 votes here. 4 of whom are registered voters of the Republican Party. However, the Republican Party got 3 votes and the Democratic Party got 3 votes. One Republican voter flipped.
